Can you deliver my cake to the venue?
Unfortunately our cakes are collection only.
When can I collect my cake?
You can collect your cake from our diner after 12pm on your agreed collection date which will be confirmed at the time of order. Collections are Tuesday - Saturday. We are closed on Sundays & Mondays.
Our address is 14 Regent Terrace, Gateshead, NE8 1LU. There is limited free street parking to the front of the diner during weekdays and usually plenty of free space on a Saturday. There are also paid car parks around the town centre.
Are your cakes gluten free?
Our cakes are not currently offered as gluten free but we do hope to have this option available in the very near future!
I'm allergic to ..................... are your cakes suitable for me?
Our cakes are free from eggs, dairy and other animal derived ingredients. Unless you have selected the 'Peanut Butter' buttercream, our cakes are also free from nuts. Let us know if you have a specific intolerance and we'll do our best to come up with an alternative cake solution for you. HOWEVER, please not that we do handle all non-animal allergens in our kitchen so cannot guarantee a cake will be totally free from allergens.
How much notice to I need to give for an order?
At least 7 days notice is required. During busy periods such as the. Summer holidays (wedding season) & Christmas, this may be longer. We will always let you know if your order is possible in the timescale given before we send final confirmation.
How will my cake be packaged?
All cakes are packaged on a cake board in a cake box. Your cake will need to be kept flat during transportation so we would always recommend coming by car to pick up your cake. We cannot be held responsible for cakes damaged in transportation once they have left our premises.
How long will my cake last?
For best freshness & flavour, we recommend eating your cake within 48 hours of purchase. Your cake should be kept covered in a cool, dry place & served at room temperature. If you wish to refrigerate your cake, it should be wrapped tightly in cling film to prevent drying out.
Can I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order please email email@example.com as soon as possible. Orders cancelled less than 5 days before the collection date can only receive a 50% refund due to stock/ingredients already being ordered. Unfortunately orders cancelled within 2 days of collection cannot be refunded as work would have already started on the cake.
